Like many a modern love story, ours started with a swipe right...

 

Jayde and Jon first met in person on the 6th of June 2020, in the midst of the Covid outbreak, and quickly bonded over a 6-dollar bottle of Parsons Paddock Shiraz and a mutual sense of relief that we looked like our Tinder profile pics. Our first date was spent sipping cocktails, eating vegan tapas, mercilessly making fun of other couples on first dates, and making out over the table.

 

By the end of the weekend, we were so keen on each other that we both called in sick on Monday. Jon survived Caz's intense personality quiz, while Jayde proved she could keep up with Jon's beer consumption and laughed at one of his staggeringly inappropriate jokes. It was a match.

 

In 2021, we moved into Jon's garage apartment and met an incredibly annoying, though strangely lovable fellow named Dave. Six months later, we took a giant leap and got our very own mortgage together. Since then, we've built a life full of love, laughter, drunken chats and tofu dinners.

 

Now we'd love you all to help us celebrate the next chapter of our lives... as the same couple we've always been but wearing wedding rings.
